Some Changes

On a rare two post day, I thought I might let you know about some changes that are either already in the works or soon to be on the way.

By way of explanation, back when I first got involved with the Chad & Jeremy on-line extravaganza, I had no personal outlet for my C&J stuff, and came to rely upon the Yahoo group, MySpace, and YouTube to get the stuff (pictures, video, opinion, memorabilia) published in one way or another. As a result of my over achieving, I probably put out too much, too soon, and in too many places.

So now I have a blog, which I will consider to be a personal identity of sorts, and I'm going to try to consolidate my stuff once and for all. I've taken down the pictures I tagged and had on MySpace, and Facebook, pulled the pictures from the Yahoo group, and will shortly (just how shortly I'm not sure yet) pull the videos from YouTube. I'm checking out various photo sharing sites, so the pictures that were once scattered will find a permanent home there, hopefully with the videos. In any case, I'll provide permanent links here to wherever those things turn up.

One important note. If you have sent me photos to post on MySpace, or Yahoo for you, they will remain where they are now, and I won't be moving those. I consider those your property.

I'm also going to be a little bit more critical in choosing which photos to put up. I had a very brief discussion with Chad after a show in October, and he asked me to send him the shots I had taken at the 5 shows I'd been at. Rather than send hundreds, I spent a few days editing hundreds down to less than 100, and sent those out. I know he's still busy with the new CD and I have not heard back from him, but I think those 100 or so shots, as imperfect as many of them are, will be what gets to that final photo sharing site.

So, that's what's going on. By the way, everything that's been on my Facebook account remains. I haven't figured that one out yet:).
