So Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Father's Day to Chad, Jeremy, and all of the fathers out there. It's been raining for about 3 weeks here in CT, but it has stopped now, and the sun is in and out. Hope it stays out long enough to get some cooking in later.

Had an interview this past week, and one the week before. One was for a driver/courier position, and the other for an admin position, same place. Though everyone I spoke with was nice, it was kind of apparent that I wasn't going to get either job, considering my past experience and salary level. Both jobs were considered entry level, and I guess people don't trust me to stick around if something better should come along. In all honesty, that's probably true, though that "something better" job has yet to appear during the past 5 years I've been looking for it, and I'm starting to doubt that it ever will. So the search continues.

I'm packing up now for the performance tomorrow. 3 guitars, mics, stands, cables, extension cords, amps, nothing is simple anymore :).

Anyway, we move on.

  2. Tom Jackson, a job-search guru who was hot in the 80s, used to say that a search was a collection of No's that leads (finally) to a yes. Think of each "No" as another step towards a yes. It will happen, the economy will turn around. Thanks for what you do for Chad and Jeremy fans. I just stumbled upon your site.
