There is a great series of bootleg recordings of Bob Dylan performances and interviews that encompass everything he did, in and out of the studio, in 1965 and 1966. Think about that for a minute. Think of how his music changed every perception we ever had about sound, music, lyrics, fashion, poetry, civil rights. Collected in sets of CD's. Back in the day I'd venture to say that some folk might sell the farm to get that stuff. To get that sense of knowledge.
Whew. Yes, that's me in John's jacket and hat, holding a stolen/found lantern on Fitch St., in New Haven, CT, c1966. There is a poem written on the apartment wall. In magic marker. It never came off :).
