Out With The Old, In With The New...

I was tempted to do a year end review, but, with the exception of the Christmas mini CD event, not much at all has happened since Thanksgiving and the round-up I did then, so maybe just a brief summation will do it.

29 public shows, 4 private, 1 in-store signing, 10 radio interviews, 2 TV spots. Both the CD of new material and the DVD promised for this year were delayed, with no dates yet for either release in 2010. We did get a handful of new Christmas music (3 songs), plus the issuance of 2 songs that were previously on the web site and a nice Christmas song from Beth Stuart Baker, as part of the Christmas package.

The high point for me was probably the May show in Port Washington, NY, and I'm sure that the lack of a new music CD will be among every fan's disappointments for the year. Chins up, though, for new music will happen in 2010.

The year did bring the concert debuts of Don't Look Back, Generation Rumble, The Water Is Wide and Dirty Old Town, and the return of Hey Baby, What Do You Want With Me, and Everyone's Gone To the Moon.

And that will do it. I'm very grateful for the new friends I've made, and hope to see again in 2010. Hopefully there'll be some shows near enough to drive to again in 2010. So, until then, we wish you all a Happy New Year.
