Thanksgiving

Firstly, thanks to Deb (aka Dr. Deb Dullahan) for the wonderful shot of Chad & Jeremy at The Boulton Theater, Bay Shore, NY, from October 24, 2008. I'll have some more shots from her of C&J at BB King's in NYC to come in the days ahead, but, since it is Thanksgiving tomorrow, I thought I'd lead with the best.

This has been a truly wacky year in the annals of C&J, and those that were paying attention will know what I mean. Still and all, we did get 33 shows, 10 radio interviews, two TV shots (Chicago & St. Louis) that I know about, and that in store event at J&R's in NYC. Unfortunately, both the new CD and DVD have been postponed until 2010, and we found out this year that the live concert recording that was also mentioned as a 2009 release was not to be because of equipment failure.In any event, a very active year, and one in which we were fortunate to catch three great shows.

We here have a lot to give thanks for. Despite another year of joblessness and some health issues, we are together at this holiday and thankful for it. We're also extremely grateful that despite our hardships, we're still hanging in, and are certainly more fortunate than those whose stories of foreclosure and poverty are all over the news. I'm sure some changes will be coming in the near future, but we're hopeful that those changes will be for the better.
