Rushmore

I finally figured out that maybe I should watch Rushmore. You know, Chad & Jeremy mention it at nearly all of their shows because of the inclusion of Summer Song (won't be watching Princess Diaries, though. My daughter met Ann Hathaway at a party a couple of years ago and came away with a less than favorable impression, so I try to avoid Ann movies whenever I can). So, I gave it 36 minutes and quit. Couldn't identify with any of the characters, wasn't that funny, and it's hard for me to watch Bill Murray now after the charges of "adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment" (and that's taken from court documents)in his divorce trial. It's the damn media infecting my brain, I tell you.

Anyway, maybe I'll try to finish watching Rushmore, but I have a lot of newer movies to watch before I re-visit that one.

As with anything else, your mileage may vary on this one. A lot of folks at www.imdb.com think this is the best movie ever made. A lot also say you need to watch it more than once. Some say you need to like Wes Anderson movies. I said, yawn, time for bed.
