But enough about me...

Back to C&J. This CD was released to coincide with their 2004 tour, and was the first music I had heard from them since The Ark in the 60's. (I can't swear to that, but I'm pretty, pretty sure).

There's more than one surprise on this 10 track CD-R. Not only do we have nifty updated versions of Distant Shores, Before & After, Willow Weep For Me, Summer Song and Yesterday's Gone, but we get a re-working of the great Rest in Peace, and the jewel in this little package, Made For Each Other. Now, it took me a good 5 or 6 listens before I figured out what this one was about. But once I did, I was really impressed with the way Jeremy got to where he was going with this one.

The more I listen to this and the other 2 new CD-R's that I managed to grab, the more impressed I am by both their writing and arranging skills. I mean, I already knew they could sing.

Bad news is that all of those, 2004 though 2007, are sold out. Word has it that a lot of the tunes will be included on either their forthcoming "Arkeology," or another vehicle, soon to be released.
