As we all rightly know, C&J recorded three songs by the great but sartorially challenged Bobby Goldsboro: If She Was Mine (should have been If She Were Mine, being subjunctive and all, whatever), If You've Got A Heart, and the great When Your Love Has Gone. From the equally wonderful 1966 LP The Best of Patty Duke - Just Patty (which also gives us 3 versions of the TV theme song), we get the amazing Whenever She Holds You, also by Mr. Goldsboro.
The kicker, and lost classic, that is crying out for a remake by C&J is Funny Little Clown, originally written & sung by Bobby G., and recently remade by the reincarnation of the previously famous Outbound Express, our new group No Reason. (That's us, BTW, under the "Aging Well" shot)
Visit Bobby on his site http://www.bobbygoldsboro.com/
He's overcome that hairdo you see him with here, and he's actually lookin a little bit like Chuck Norris on his site. Sorry, no music samples on his sight, but Amazon probably has some if your curious about Funny Little Clown.
Here's Patty's site http://www.officialpattyduke.com/home.htm
I see that she's listed to have been on Shindig twice, and one date coincides with an appearance by Chad & Jill, but I can't confirm.
